Formerly the Internet Education Project, a database of learning objects compiled by the ACRL Instruction Section’s Teaching Methods Committee. IL products and projects are submitted for review to the Teaching Methods Committee and only those that pass review are entered into the database. Content is accessible to all; there is no requirement to belong to the American Library Association.

 

MERLOT: Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching

An open resource for faculty and students in higher education, MERLOT provides annotated reviews and links to learning objects in a wide array of disciplines. Library and Information Services is located in the Education category and is helpfully subdivided into these subcategories: General, Information Retrieval, Issues in Librarianship, Information Literacy, Information Technology, and Library Specialties.
