Teaching is learning from the past, understanding the present, and reaching out to the future.
Teaching is an ongoing, lifelong, cyclic process that goes hand in hand with learning.
My goals in teaching are to help students:
- develop critical thinking skills that allow them to evaluate materials for their learning
- develop analytical skills and the ability to integrate what they learn into future assignments
- identify and use materials that are central tools in their disciplines
