History of CLAMS►CLAMS Constitution and By-Laws Originally what came to be known as CCLAMS was called the 4 C's or Community College Cooperative Committee. In 1968, at a Fall meeting, the idea hit that the name should include the Media Specialists as well as Librarians. The Directors present included Steve Gerhardt of Shoreline, Frank Denton of North Seattle, Boyd Bolvin of Bellevue, Junius Morris of Highline and Orville Hanson of Green River. The purpose was to participate in the Community College System, giving advise and making recommendations to the Instructional Commission. It was a group effort led by Steve Gerhardt, that brought about CCLAMS, now College Librarians and Media Specialists. Submitted by Jean Roden. |
