WASHINGTON STATE FALL DATABASE TRIALS
(ENDING SOON!)

Do you buy or use electronic resources for your library's customers?

25 vendors have provided more than 80 databases for our trial and evaluation during the months of September and October.

Visit the Trials Site at to explore new products! You'll find an online interest form so you can let us know if you're a potential customer. Then, the Statewide Database /Licensing Committee will help facilitate group purchases when there's enough interest to get discounts from the vendors.

New Feature: An online discussion feature allows you to share your comments, ask questions of the vendors and find out who else is interested in a particular database.

Your deadline for reviewing products and making a tentative commitment will be October 31. In Early October we'll be asking you for initial response so we can begin tracking likely discounts.

Final decisions will be made in November with product set-up and purchase happening in December, in time for the products to start in January 2000. But - the trials expire in October so don't wait - go shopping now! Thank you!
